I caught a very little bit of Zeus live when they opened up for Broken Social Scene one time. Had hoped to see them in June in Toronto but that is not going to happen which sucks. Anyway Zeus recently released an album of covers, aptly titled Cover Me. Everyone from R.Kelly to Michael Jackson to STP and Flaming Lips (I never know if I am supposed to use ‘The’ or not). So far all are really good. I’m going to save the cover of MJ’s ‘Who Is It?’ for a rainy day and for the love of all things that are good, the R.Kelly cover might just be my summertime jam.
Fuck it. All three after the cut, after all it has been raining here for days so there.
